Abstract

Education is at the center of any project in society; at the sarne time, it suffers hard criticism in the institutional universe. Schoo/s, universities and teachers frequently discuss their methods and pedagogical projects, trying to correspond to the demands of the 21st Century. This artic/e seeks to present the effects of the scientific paradigm of modernity in education and to propose a reflection about the function of teaching in superior education from the perspective of the theory of complexity.
