Keywords:
lipids, fatty acids, experimental mammary carcinogenesis, dietAbstract
The dietary lipids and fatty acids act on the structure and function of biological membranes, hormone action, imune sistem and DNA repair. These effects may be related with mammary carcinogenesis development by unknown mechanisms. The increase of daily consumption of dietary lipids is strongly associated with the increase of incidence and mortality ffom mammary cancer as demonstrated in different human populations.
