critical notes on the prima facie justifications in reformed epistemology as well as in the epistemology of virtues of the responsibility strand

The text aims to critically analyze some assumptions adopted by the “reformed epistemology” as well as by the “epistemology of virtues” within “responsibility” feature. For this purpose, it defines and characterizes these two epistemological currents placing them in the theoretical movement of replacement of classical foundationalism by Reidian foundationalism, engendered within the analytic philosophy of religion. Furthermore, in an analytical-critical way, the text points out some contributions and limits of these epistemologies and their proposals in the sense of justifying religious beliefs in the face of traditional ways of giving reasons for faith, as well as in the face of those critical approaches related to religion.
