A LIBERDADE NA PERSPECTIVA ANARQUISTA
Abstract
The view of freedom hold by the Political Philosophy of Liberalism - from John Locke to Jean-Jacques Rousseau - is naturalistic coloured: people are born free but in the social encounter they can loose their freedom partly or completely. By building a political theory opposed to liberalism a new concept of freedom, which is socIal inspired, was built by the anarchists in the 19 th century: freedom is not to be seen as a natural feature of inviduals, but as a reality to be achieved and built collecüvely, so that society emerges as a necessary condition to its very existence. This article rescues the contribution of Pierre - Joseph Proudhon and Mikhail Bakunin to the subject.
