FUNDAMENTOS LÓGICOS DO CONHECIMENTO

Abstract

This article aims at presenting the logical fundamentaIs of knowledge insomuch as the terms of logic are concerned, based on arguments raised by Guilherme de Ockham (1290-1349) on the logic of the terms that build up propositions and discussions of the question of universaIs. Thus Ockham's way of thisking will bear three basic approaches in this article: i) intuitive and abstractive knowledge; ii) terminism that aims at studying the logic of supposition which, in its turn, implies discussions on universaIs and iii) nominalism, which is nothing but arguments raised on the negation of the ontologic reality of universals.
