SIGNIFICADO E VERDADE NA ÚLTIMA FASE DO PENSAMENTO DE CARNAP
Abstract
In his work Die Logische Syntax der Sprache Carnap tried to produce a syntactical solution for problems of semantics. Carnap failure in this project led him to look in Meaning and Necessity for a new method of analysis for the meaning of linguistic expressions. It is argued here that, although Meaning and Necessity presents an important contribution to Philosophy, its basic structure is not clear and the project of producing a new method is not presented there.
