Denominações como psicologia experiencial, método experiencial, fenomenologia experiencial, psicoterapia experiencial etc. de Eugene T. Gendlin denotam a ênfase que este psicoterapeuta americano vem dando ao processo experiencial ou à experienciação (experiencing) na teoria e prática clínicas.
