Abstract

The Nutrition Group of the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, has been helding, for several years, programs for the improvement and training of the staff of the Brazilian University Schools of Nutrition. This initiative has also as objective the exchange of experience among the teachers and stimulation of research. This paper deals with one of the courses offered in one Nutrition School! in Bauru. The subject chosen was Epidemiology of Nutritional Diseases. This was considered an important and broad area, offering a good opportunity for recycling and research.
