The specific identity of educational practice to be implemented by all those who have a civilizing
project, to address the historical challenges released today, is on the tripod formed by appropriating
theoretical knowledge, by acquiring technical ability and sensibility to the political character of
social relations. But these three dimensions can only be consolidated if welded and articulated to
the ethical dimension. The personal involvement and ethical sensibility of educators is fundamentally
linked to a commitment to the destiny of men. It is humanity that each one is accountable for.
Therefore, the biggest commitment is to have an ethical commitment to technical responsibilities
and to political engagement. This means all men must link their ethical responsibility to the liability
benchmark construction of a more just, more equitable, that is, a democratic society, composed
of citizens participating in conditions which ensure all natural assets, social goods and symbolic
goods are available for the specific society in which they live and that everyone is entitled to as a
result of human dignity of each individual.
