THE CONTINUED EDUCATION PROGRAM (PEC): OUR EXPERIENCE-OUR REFLECTION

Abstract

This paper is a brief account of two coordinators' experiences at the Continuous Training Project of the Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo with formal agreement with public Universities. The two coordinators are also teachers at the Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências - Campus de Marília. The purposes of the study may be fully expressed as follow: to reflect about the continuous training having as starting-point some theoretical references; to indicate the role Commissions of lnstruction should play in arder to operate the proposals, and to raise the difficulties faced by teachers of state schools in their daily routine work. ln conclusion, some considerations are put forward, wich may contribute to work out ai! together training proposals for teachers two still practice, wich inevitably entails the elaboration of a Pedagogic Project by each school.
