Abstract

John Ruskin writes about nature, painting, architecture, political economy. But his intention is to formulate a perceptual theory that associates diferent subjects. He is an optical thinker, his logic mixes up diferent issues. To talk about nature he requests painting, to talk about painting he requests architecture and then political economy... To read Ruskin is to dive into his logic, a logic that is not linear. This article Will see the correspondence between the logic that associates nature with painting with architecture in Ruskin's logic.
