Abstract

At present, the precocious literacy has become more and more serious, not only in Brazil, but also in other contries in Europe, such as France, as shown by this article. The psychomotor approach by Giselle B. Soubiran, who has developed her research at HENRI ROUSSELLE Hospital {Paris}, since 1947, shows us the possible reasons that bring this problem out and the basic requisites that a child must have developed for a satisfactory performance up to the moment of his instruction in reading and writing. The steps which must be followed in Therapeutic Intervention are also evidenced, considering age and neurologie developement of the child.
