PROCEDIMENTOS OPERACIONAIS NA AVALIAÇÃO DO TESTE DE BENDER INFANTIL

Abstract

Just after the most recent review on the Bender test, applied to children from 3 to 12 years old, the authors have utilized a factorial approach to Bender's clinical observations. This was done to make possible to conduct a quantitative and qualitative evaluation which should be as rich and consistent as the original. The conclusions of Bender's research refering to children's maturation diagnostic are emphasized. The authors list the quantitative signals per age and stablish different categories accordingly. The factorial personal signals to every age are added to that evaluation enabiling the qualitative study of the outcomes. Right after the review of clinical and scienti[ic test, the authors state the evaluation terms and test usage relating to the neural-psychological data of the children. The study becomes more significant due the fact that it contains the first portuguese version of the Bender's evaluation criteria.
