Abstract

Heuristics are influential rules that guide people’ judgments in decision tasks under uncertainty. This paper presents a theoretical review of heuristic rules in judgment and decision making focusing on Tversky and Kahneman’s research. It discusses heuristics of anchoring, availability and representative.
