Augmented Reality as an element of training in digital competencies for Higher Education
a proposal for curricular integration from biosanitary training
Keywords:
Digital competencies, Educational innovation, Augmented reality, Virtuality in Higher EducationAbstract
This study analyzes a proposal for the curricular integration of augmented reality as a essential element in the development of digital competencies, grounded in the principles of Visual Literacy, and a quality factor in Higher Education, for what is presented as an instructional design in the bio sanitary training. The hypothesis is based on the conceptual evolution and the application of digital competencies in Education by social agents and their policies, aimed at promoting the Digital Agenda and addressing the challenges of knowledge on the Web (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data). The objectives include selecting means to effectively incorporate these competencies and examining the successful foundations of augmented reality application, which serves as the architecture for the proposal. The method is deductive, from the conceptual foundation, followed by field analysis of best practices and concluding with the presentation of the curricular integration model.
