Abstract

Thestructureofdatabases,as well asthewaythatdatabasesdesigntheirdatamodelareobjects of analysis in this arrie/e. Some types of databases like: bibliographical, directories,financial. numeric andfitll text are analyzed according to the different document typologies that compose
them and the relation between theirdata model designoOn these grounds, it defends the hypothesis
that the bellerthe data model designed in relation with the different documentaltypologies, the higher the answer qllality ofdatabase wil/ be.
