Abstract

Training in reading comprehension with the Cloze Technique in Universitu Students of the First Semester, Undergraduate levei. The general purpose of this study was to verify that Training Toward improvement the reading comprehension with the Cloze Tecnique was efficient to 14 students, ali of them female, from the first semester in the Instituto Pedagógico de Maracay, where the sample evaluated.. The training was cafrried
out during five consecutive weeks, twice sensions per week. The test 'Cloze' were desing based on different textbools from the Venezuelan literature. The training in reading Comprehension with the Cloze Tecnique proved to be effective for that perpose, achieving an increase levei of reading comprehension in ali the participants.
