Explores the librarians role as collective memory constructors
starting from the Le Goff's book "History and Memory". It points out towards the construction of the collective memory desterritorialized and globalized as an important problem of the present society, taking into account the librarians and archivists insert themselves with
distincts degrees of autonomy in this processo Concludes that memory acts as a space that legitimates, updates and reorganizes the imaginary
of the society.
