This article is integrant part of the school-master’s dissertation Awaken JK BH (1940-1945): the capital of Minas Gerais in the track of the modernization and approaches the enterprises carried through during the municipal administration of Juscelino Kubitschek in the urban modernization of the city of Belo Horizonte influenced by the norms elaborated for he International Congress of Modern Architecture in 1933 (Atenas’s Letter).
