A investigação do humano: um debate.
Keywords:
research methodology, human sciences, paradigms of scienceAbstract
This speech text argues about possible paradigms in human research and describes the logicol their development from the start point of the break between philosophy and science. Into the science field we can distinguish the natural scienceswith their empirical analytical paradigm, the human sciences with their hermeneutic phenomenological paradigm, and the dialectical inspired sciences with their dialectical paradigm. When lhe researches on humanmalter obey the first paradigm, they followthe paths of the statislics or behavior analysis. The researches that obey the second paradigm may have an empirical tendency or a dialectical one. And those that obey the third paradigm are participant reasearches, or action ones, or criticalstudies. Finally, the author suggests a new development toward a human ecological research.
