CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA CLIENTELA ATENDIDA NA CLÍNICA PSICOLÓGICA DO INSTITUTO DE PSICOLOGIA DA PUCCAMP II
Abstract
In this study we wish to describe the population that comes to seek for psychological help in the Psychological Clinic of the Instituto de Psicologia da PUCCAMP-São Paulo. For This purpose we describe some characteristics of our sample and compare them with the rates of the total population of São Paulo State, officialy publicated. It can be noticed that for the total sample of 2.102 pacientes, meaningful differences were found: - It was found a major proportion of 06 to 10 years old pacientes, just followed by the group of the il to 15 years old cIients. - Aproximately 44% of the pacients are studentes and they generally came by appointment of schools or Educational Services. - We found statistically significant differences concerning the educational leveI of pacientes of the sample higher than the general population of the state of São Paulo.
