FARMACOGENÉTICA
Abstract
After presenting the basic concepts of genetics, the author focuses on the body's reactions to drugs. He also analyses how these reactions can be influenced by genetic factors. The effects produced by the same drug in different individuais and the effects different drugs can produce in the same person are presented, together with the possible effects a drug may have on a pregnant woman and her fetus.
