ATOS VIOLENTOS CONTRA PESSOAS: ESTUDO DE FATORES CAUSAIS
Abstract
The present study was conducted at são Bernardo Prison-Campinas to investigate the possible diferences between violent and non-violent criminals as far as the following variables are concerned:personality traits,mental and educational levels, social'and family influences. A further objective of this study was to investigated through the use of the Eysenck Inventory, the differences between criminaIs and non-criminals, as well as the reIaiionship between the personality traits covered by the Inventory and criminal
behavior. It was found that criminaIs differed from non-criminals both from Brazil and England in a number of factors.but that the Eysenck Inventory did not discriminate between violent and non-violent priaionera. Differencea between them were found however in the terms of G factor level of aspiration and family hiatory.
