ADOLESCENTE E A SOCIEDADE: UMA CONTRIBUIÇÃO AO FILICÍDIO
Abstract
The psychoanalytic concept of "filicide" introduced by Rascovsky can not be reduced to aggressive behavior of parents to towards their sm«ll children. After a brief review of thesetheoretical and clinical ideas it is concluded that is really during adolescence that a filicidal behavior is more evidente. It becomes even socially acçepted and it is being pointed out that the "generatipn gap"is at times handled witb a violent behavior against adolescents. It is postulated tbat we seem to live in a "filicidal" society whicb favours tbe structuring of a marginal self im many adolescents. This allows for understanding some type of psychopathological structures commonly seen in adolescents, like psycbopat~y, perversion, drug addiction and even some psZ cboses. Psycbotberapy becomes r..tricted and a big question comes forward in tberapeutic and preventive measures in tbe psycbological bandling of these problems.
