The effect of AgNPV was evaluated on larvae and adults ofthe predator Chrysoperla externa and the parasitoid Trichogramma pretiosum For C. externa, it was verijied
that coming pupas of larvae of first instar fed with the virus, took longer reach the pupa phase. ln T. pretiosum, the presence of the virus did not interfere with the oviposition of this parasitoid but there was interference in the longevity of the first generation. This was because the coming adults of treated eggs with virus after the parasitism presented significantly shorter longevity than the control group (6:66 and 8:42 days, respectively). There was no differencefrom the adult descendants of the parasitoids previously developed in eggs exposed to the parasitism.
