Environment Education work is developed withim the Museology context by the Education Section of the Oceanographic Institute that receives elementary, junior high and high school students with guided visits.
Among the main objective of the museum are: to enhence the knowledge, utilization and preservation of seas and oceans. This work is developed in two steps, first a theoretical explication followed by a museum visit. The results of the questionary applied after the vi'sits show that students already had some notions of environmental preservation and in the marine environment they prefer animal life.
