GRUPO DE EMPRESAS: ENFOQUE LABORAL

Abstract

This article analyses the concept, as well as it offers a juridical description of one of advanced capitalism’s phenomena: the concentration of economic power known as “grupo de empresas” (holding), considering its various legal effects. Therefore, this text relates its possible forms of concentration, its basic elements of identification and also its structure. Finally, it emphasizes one of its mentioned effects as main subject, like the question of patrimonial responsibility for labor debts, under Uruguayan doctrine.
