A GLOBALIZAÇÃO E A MEDIAÇÃO

Abstract

The present article aims to discuss the influences the mediation, comprehended as a alternative way of solving conflicts which are grounded in a specific social and cultural context, receive from the globalization, phenomena that provocates the imposition (but not absorption) of a foreign culture. Because of its interdisciplinary perspective, this work recurs to authors of the Philosophy of Law, Sociology and analytic psychology, especially Carl Gustav Yung, in order to show the closer relation between culture and the collective inconscient, as well as the implications of the phenomena of globalization on that relation. As result, thus, it is expected to foment the debate much more than properly responding the central question, that is, in what way the globalization influences the mediators activity?
