Preditores da Síndrome de Burnout em psicólogos

Resumo

O presente estudo avaliou os preditores da Síndrome de Burnout em uma amostra de 518 psicólogos atuantes no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Foram utilizados como instrumentos de pesquisa o Cuestionario para la Evaluación del Síndrome de Quemarse por el Trabajo; a Bateria de Avaliação de Riscos Psicossociais; a Escala COPE Inventory, para avaliação de estratégias de enfrentamento; a Escala de Emoções no Trabalho, para avaliação do trabalho emocional, e um questionário para as variáveis sociodemográficas e laborais. Os resultados, obtidos por meio da Regressão Linear Múltipla, apontam que os preditores de maior poder explicativo das dimensões de Burnout foram a sobrecarga laboral e o uso de estratégias de enfrentamento focadas na emoção. O modelo preditor revela que os riscos ao Burnout decorrem da interação de variáveis pessoais e do trabalho.
