O PAPEL DA FUTURA REGIÃO ADMINISTRATIVA ESPECIAL DE MACAU NO CONTEXTO DAS RELAÇÕES ENTRE A RPC E OS PAÍSES LUSÓFONOS
Resumo
A transição da soberania de Macau irá ocorrer após vinte anos de aplicação da política de abertura e modernização econômica da Repú blica Popular da China iniciada por Deng Xiaoping em 1979.
Recentemente, em Setembro de 1997, o 15º Congresso do Partido Co.munista Chinês veio confirmar a manutenção, no essencial, desta política na RPC. Mais próximo ainda, esta vontade foi reafirmada por Zhu Rongzhi, primeiro ministro eleito em Abril pela 9ª Assembléia Na cional Popular, ao apresentar, nessa ocasião, um ambicioso programa de reformas econômicas para os próximos cinco anos.
